1. Who we are & what this site does

unclezane.com (the "Site") is operated by Uncle Zane ("we", "us", "our"). Pages under the Site's "Partner Store" (including /schaffen) showcase and promote products sold by independent third-party suppliers (each a "Supplier"). For brake products, the Supplier is SCHAFFEN BRAKE MALAYSIA SDN. BHD.

By placing an order through the Site, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Our role — marketing partner only

We act solely as a marketing / referral partner of the Supplier. We are not the seller, manufacturer, importer, distributor, or agent of the Supplier, and we do not take ownership of, stock, inspect, or handle any products.

Any contract for the sale of products is formed directly and exclusively between you and the Supplier. We are not a party to that contract.

3. Payments go directly to the Supplier

1. All payments are processed through the Supplier's own payment gateway account (e.g. FPX / e-wallet via the Supplier's registered merchant account). Your payment settles directly into the Supplier's account.
2. We never receive, hold, or control your money at any point. The Supplier is the merchant of record for your transaction, and the Supplier's name (or its payment provider's) may appear on your bank or card statement.
3. All matters relating to payment — including failed transactions, double charges, chargebacks, and refunds — are handled by the Supplier and its payment provider.

4. Commission disclosure

We receive a referral commission from the Supplier for sales made through the Site. This commission is paid by the Supplier and does not increase the price you pay.

5. Product information & pricing

1. Product descriptions, specifications, images, and prices shown on the Site are provided by or derived from the Supplier's official materials (e.g. the SCHAFFEN 2026 brochure and pricing announcement). They are provided for general information only and may change at any time without notice at the Supplier's sole discretion.
2. Where a price depends on product fitment (e.g. brake pad size by caliper), the price shown is indicative and the final price will be confirmed by the Supplier before or after checkout. If the confirmed price differs, you may cancel and receive a full refund from the Supplier of any amount paid.
3. We make reasonable efforts to keep information current but do not warrant its accuracy, completeness, or fitness for your vehicle. Confirm fitment with the Supplier before purchase.

6. Orders, delivery & installation

1. Order acceptance, stock availability, delivery, and (where offered) installation are the sole responsibility of the Supplier. Delivery times are estimates given by the Supplier.
2. After successful payment you will receive an order code (e.g. UZ-BRK-XXXX). The Supplier will contact you via WhatsApp to confirm stock, fitment, and delivery or installation arrangements. Your order is only accepted once the Supplier confirms it. If the Supplier cannot fulfil your order (for example, out of stock or a fitment mismatch), the Supplier will refund the full amount paid.
3. Brake components are safety-critical parts. They must be installed by a qualified mechanic or workshop, and bedded in and used in accordance with the Supplier's instructions. Products described as for "track" or "competition" use may not be suitable, legal, or safe for normal road use.

7. Warranty, returns & refunds

1. All warranties, guarantees, returns, exchanges, and refunds are provided solely by the Supplier under the Supplier's own policies and under applicable law.
2. We give no warranty of any kind in respect of the products. Any statutory warranty or guarantee that applies to your purchase (including under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 (Malaysia)) is owed to you by the Supplier as the seller.
3. For any warranty or refund claim, contact the Supplier directly — for SCHAFFEN products: WhatsApp 011-2793 3997, Instagram @SCHAFFENBRAKEMY, or email [email protected]. We may, as a courtesy, help pass your complaint to the Supplier, but we have no authority to decide claims.

8. Limitation of our liability

1. The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
2. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for: (a) any defect in, failure of, or unsuitability of any product; (b) any personal injury, death, accident, or property damage arising from the use of any product; (c) any act, omission, delay, insolvency, or breach by the Supplier; (d) any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or loss of profit, revenue, or data.
3. If, notwithstanding the above, we are found liable to you in connection with the Site, our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the commission we actually received on your order or RM100, whichever is lower.
4. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Malaysian law.

9. Personal data

Details you enter at checkout (name, phone number, vehicle details, delivery preference) are passed to the Supplier and its payment provider solely to process and fulfil your order, and are handled in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia). We retain a record of the order (excluding payment credentials, which we never see) for commission reconciliation with the Supplier.

10. Intellectual property

SCHAFFEN®, 刹森制动®, and all other product names, logos, images, and brands referenced on the Site are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and promotion with the Supplier's consent. No affiliation with or endorsement by any other brand mentioned (e.g. benchmark products) is implied.

11. General

1. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to the Site.
2. If any provision of these terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
3. We may update these terms at any time; the version published on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
